“Driving north on US HWY 27 in Lake County Florida I spotted this pickup with a propane tank on the back. When we got to a stoplight I saw the chain bolted to the side of the camper and attached to a cross bar under the truck. The outside of the camper is plywood, no idea what the metal plate with the eye-hook is bolted to, but I am glad I was not behind them going up a steep hill.”

The chain in the front is pretty much standard for a truck camper. Though it is usually a bit farther forward, and there should also be one at the rear to the bumper on both sides.
