That’s not a bad idea as long as you don’t have little kids or animals that will mess with them. Although I prefer colored twist ties that can’t get knocked off, or just fall off by accident. With the colored twist ties you don’t even need to label them. Just put red tie, for example, on the PC end of the power cord then one on the plug in side as well. Then all you have to do to make sure you unplug the right thing, is check the device end of cord to see which color to unplug at the other. Colored tape on each end will work as well, for things like your mouse where you don’t want a visible marker on the mouse end. Instead you just have a little piece of colored tape, or colored marker on the bottom.
