Car Paint

by DebbieWTR

It’s bad enough that this idiot painted his car with a roller but purple?  I guess it was his favorite color crayon in the box.

Oh man, I saw this decades ago, maybe 70’s! Not the same car. But somebody hand painted, rolled, on, flat, pink, house paint.
On top of that, they painted over a Trans Am sticker on the hood (not a Tran Am either), and then used a pencil to outline it again. We got so many laughs out of that car at the time. Sadly, it’s becoming the norm now….

SEARCH “painting bmw purple with roller”
Story of why it was painted: VELIKY NOVGOROD, October 10 (RIA Novosti) – House painters in Russia’s central city of Veliky Novgorod avenged a driver of a wrong-parked expensive BMW by painting his silver-colored car into purple.

A witness said that an unknown driver parked on Sunday his BMW on one of the central streets of the city near a building, where house painters were working. The parked car occupied a considerable part of the sidewalk posing inconvenience for pedestrians and obstructing work of house painters.

At first, the house painters tried asking the residents of the house, who was the owner of the car, but after getting no information they used their paint rollers to apply purple color on the vehicle and wrote a swear-word on the rear window.

The car remained this way all day on Sunday and by the late evening disappeared.

A spokesman for the city police said there were no complaints concerning inflicted damages on the car.

ok, not that this isn’t stupid enough, but I just have to point out how extra special you have to be to paint over your headlights.

The car is actually white and needed a touch-up. He used that new ceiling paint that changes colors so he didnt miss a spot.

Actually water based paint for a house works well on a car! I had a 1973 Beetle that was yellow, and it was getting rusty so,I painted it white with a brush, and then I added various colors of paint,in the style of Jackson Pollock and it looked pretty nice, and the rust didn’t show through for several years. No one had a car like it.
