I see at least 4 screws/bolts holding the saw to the 2 bys and what appears to be at least as many into the stump. I would be more inclined to call it Yankee ingenuity (or Redneck or whatever else)rather than white Trash Repairs. Some of the pictures on the site are actually pretty ingenious. Others, are accidents waiting to happen.
