Hot Dog Heater

I wonder how long it took to heat the hot dog?

That will cook that hotdog faster than a microwave. I had an electronics teacher in high school that cooked dogs this way every year as a demonstration to the students.

That is a continental European 230 jolt plug. Here in the USA I did that with 120 jolts when I was a teenager in the early 1960’s. It worked. It took about a minute to cook the weenie. On almost double the joltage it should take about 15 seconds. Using the E squared over R law you get 4 times the power into the same resistance with double the joltage (voltage). BTW, doing this really messes up your utensils.
