Mail Change

by DebbieWTR
February 27, 2012

Wonder if they charge extra for the weight of the change taped to the envelope?  I’m guessing the postman wasn’t thrilled and the 5 cents wasn’t enough.

Must be an old pic … for 39 cents to buy a stamp.

Count it again, there is 44 cents. The nickel is on the bottom.

The nickle is a tip for the postman’s trouble.

That’s why it says 5 cents for your trouble.

Well, either they returned that to sender, or the mailman had to rewrite a new envelope for her. No way You’re going to get all that taped money off without wrecking the envelope.

Would have been better off leaving a note for the mailman with a little baggy full of the money.

It would serve them right if the mailman kept the whole .44 for his trouble and threw the letter away.

the smart thing to do is use the address your mailing too as the return address, that way when it’s returned for insufficient funds it still goes to the right place, you have to use the big blue mail boxes, thou, not your personal ones
