Water lantern

by DebbieWTR
July 18, 2012

“When the derecho hit the midwest on Friday, June 29, 2012, we lost power for 5 days. During that time I didn’t feel like burning any candles as it reached nearly 100 degrees with the heat index. I filled a translucent, clean milk jug with water and wrapped a battery operated headlamp inside out on the jug. It created a very nice light. Now my husband says that we won’t mess with traditional lamps when catfishing or camping anymore.”

So this is just one of those flashlights that you strap on a hat or on your forehead? Great idea, I like it.

Only white trash if you did this instead of paying your electric bill so you could buy Keystone Light or something.
