They’re so Bubba knows where the sides of car are when he’s trying to squeeze into a space at Walmart!

Yup, gotta help with the depth perception, so this is a diy space sensor! Dont wanna damage YOUR car, cuz the insurance company will figure out that YOU’RE a genius, and then you will never have privacy again!

He may have a low shelf in his garage or rain shelter; this tells him when he has reached the maximum safety depth w/o scratching his hood. Makes more sense to hang a string on weights from the shelf.
I think these are curb feelers that are put on upside down. LMAO

These are corner markers- no big deal folks. You are showing your ignorance. They can often be seen on the front bumpers of semis, with a small light on top, but they serve the same purpose.

Maybe there for blind drivers. Helps in keeping between the lines.

They have been around for years. J.C Whitney catalogs had them in the ’50s for the right front corners of the land barges of that era. Some big rigs use them too on older high hood tractors. Most newer aerodynamic rigs allow the operator to see his right fender

We used to use them on our 6×6 guntrucks, especially the ones with the winch on the front, so we could see where the bumper was when we were maneuvering in tight quarters either in the cantonement or in the bush.

They would be Mexican if they had purple lights on top. Helps with night blindness.

We have those on our semi trucks, it really helps in tight spots … keeps you from hitting walls.

yes to know where the side4 of your car is and where the front bumper is too, hard to tell with a sloping hood.
A new application for the old-style curb feeler.
Crap like that is usually only seen on Mexicans cars.
Anon is wrong Its for old guys who dont kno wherr their corners are
I’m sure some guy put this on his wifes car because he was tired of her dumb ass running into shit.
Because the dumb ass can’t drive.
