I’m pretty sure the couplers don’t give much extension since the two pipe ends are almost together. Wait, the pipes are probably not in all the way. Plus, will the purple pvc pipe glue work with the hot water? I think it will blow out within 48 hrs.

The purple is not glue, just primer. The glue is clear.
