Fixing the tail lights

The submitter wrote: “So someone driving in front of me decided to get a nice car and apparently they messed up their tail light. Instead of being spending money to keep their car looking nice they decided to use red tape to fix the side of their tail light. I give them credit for at least using red tape instead of some crazy color like purple or pink. (Left tail light.)”

To be fair, those plastic assemblies are crazy expensive. I’v actually seen this one a lot.

Actually, the car is a POS and the tape is perfect for it!

This is actually how you are supposed to fix a tail light until you can buy a new one.

The car looks like hell, but at one time I would say that it was nice. I had a 2002 Galant since new. Ran like a champ and I always kept it clean. I traded it in on a 2010 Galant. Why did I get a Galant again? Becuase my old one had 328,000 miles on it when I did. with no major work. The engine still ran strong.

Oh, BTW. EBID.NET Thats where you need to go to get a cheap tail light. Not ebay.

Not really white trash, more like broke and cant afford a new taillight. This is how you stay legal.

A flashlight with some kind of red filter would have been WTR worthy.
