Husband: what do you mean ‘we’? I think shutters that don’t shut are stupid.
This is the result, a sort of protest against non-functional shutters.
looking at the window frame I think the shutter is the least of the problem. lot’s of luck opening and or closing that window it needs major overhaul
Now this could have been done way better… Take the piece that was cut out and attach it to the cover. make the edges nice…. then hidden outside outlet.
Putting hinges on the shutter would have solved the problem. And been less work.
