And the focus. Ever try to take a shower with a cast on? No matter what you do, the dang thing gets wet. This would not work for more than a few minutes in the rain. I wouldn’t trust it with a nice camera anyway.

I can’t tell which camera it is, if it’s a 5D or 7D then it should be pretty water resistant anyway. Maybe it’s wrapped up against some other harsh condition like sand or dust. I’d want to protect a high end camera and a $700 lens any way I could!

when we were searching for a missing ladies body we put our can corder in a 2 gallon zip lock, pulled plastic tight over the lens and lowered it into several, wells , septic tanks, cisterns and other holes , worked great
