I admit I like this and how east to do. All you need is a 2 litter bottle, some cut pieces of tubing, some water and string with fruit to attract the bees.
If this is to catch them and kill them it is not cool at all!

Most bees don’t bother people. But if they’re having a picnic or something, they can be a real pest. I’ve seen people swallow one hiding in a drink can. Kid almost died from that. Even been stung in the throat?

More likely for wasps than bees. You can do the same thing with a piece of meat or fruit, a bucket, a rock, and some dish soap. Put the rock in the bucket, fill it with water but not so much that it covers the entire top of the rock, drop a few drops of dish soap in – that reduces surface tension – then put the bait on the rock. Wasps eat until they’re too full, can’t fly, and fall into the water.

@George: You don’t kill bees – wasps, ok – but bees are so important to the eco system and ultimately for our survival! And bees don’t go for human food, that is wasps. So it is very unlikely that someone will get stung in the throat. Also, wouldn’t it be better to buy safe cups that prevent wasps from getting in there in the first place?
