I’d be more inclined to believe this if the “after” picture was of the same items as the “before” picture…
Never heard of that one; I’ll have to try it. I do soak tarnished brass in grape Kool-Ade to remove the tarnish, and then wipe it *lightly* with VO-5 to give it a sheen and keep it from tarnishing again. The VO-5 also works well on silver, and it is non-toxic.
It works a treat trust me. It’s better than vinegar, coke, pure acid, hell it’s better than electrolysis. Metal comes clean instead of black. Only disadvantage is it takes time and it needs to be submerged. Worst I left something in was 3 weeks. Normally 2 weeks give good results. You can leave (forget) something for 6 months and when you come back the metal will be identical. It only attacks rust and it’s chelation process rather than acid. Ratio is not important 7:1, 8:1, 9:1, it works best in more water, less molasses. You can ask in local farms for some feed grade molasses which works out cheaper than store brand. Example I paid 15 euros for 20 liters, i’ve heard people getting it even cheaper if they try harder or know farmers. For this project Lyle Black Treacle was used.

This looks like a bunch of hokum. The parts in the before and after pictures don’t match up.
1.) There are no allen wrenches, pliers, or box wrenches in the before picture.
2.) There are sockets in the tray of the after picture that aren’t in the before picture.
None of the sh%t in plastic 1 matches sh%t in plastic . What gives.
