A/C not blowing hard enough? Not a problem just stick a fan infront of it to give it that little boost that it needs. If the fan is to short just put it on some stands to get it up there. Now that is really COOL!
Since when could Bubba afford jack stands? We always had to use blocks when we worked on our cars.
I can see the person describing this is not familiar with use of window A/C units in rooms with otherwise poor ventilation.
If you don’t have a supplemental fan the exhaust at the top will just make a short loop being sucked back into the bottom, making it cycle on and off a lot and making the thermostat less accurate.
Personally I use a ceiling fan not a ghetto rigged thing like this, but seeing the tools it may be a garage where a ceiling fan isn’t practical without framing out the top (a lot more work).
