There is no factory AC in the bed of trucks. Plus you have to leave the vehicle running to have the factory AC on.
My theories are as follows: The guy sleeps in the back of his truck and wants it cool. He brings his dog with him and needs AC to be able to leave the dog in the back of the truck. He is in some business that requires him to keep some item cool.
Probably other reasons to do this as well.

He either has the ass end of that thing sealed off inside, or he isnt using it since the pass side window is down.

that’s not a pickup…. broncos are open from tailgate to windshield… either way, funky way to do it… how does he turn the a/c on and off or change temp, crawl over the seat??? does he have the genset tied into the truck’s gas tank?
