Before the recycling truck comes time to pick out all the Christmas beer bottles so that you can make a planter!  Love it or Hate it???

    those look to be wine bottles, would brown seagrams 7 bottles work, I wonder?

    That is a good idea! The sun would warm the bottles which would in turn warm the soil and make for early planting!

    Recycling at it’s best. If you live in a state where you don’t get money to recycle glass, this is a great way to use those pesky bottles without dumping them in a landfill.

    I think it’s pretty cool. Might even be cooler if he rigged a light inside so it would glow green at night.

    This project is awesome! I love this planter.
    Definitely wine bottles, and not beer bottles…
    This thing is more like “trash to treasure”, than anything else.

    Pure win. Looking at the stamped concrete driveway i don’t think this is bubba’s place.

    My question is how’d you keep the bottles together without the whole thing collapsing?

    I see a use for all the wine bottles I throw in the recycling bin.
