    Yeah, not a problem. I’d use plastic sheeting though. But leave for work, remove the cardboard (plastic) and you’re on your way, no scraping etc…

    Tried that once. Didn’t work too well…Cardboard got soaked and it froze to the windshield worse than if I didn’t cover it at all…Had to wait 15 minutes for the defroster to work enough so I could peel it away without leaving chunks of the box on the window…

    Works for snow and ice from cold air, not rain or sleet.

    If you use cardboard that is waxed, such as a box for bulk frozen foods, or an old cardboard sunblocker, it actually works quite well. Did this during an ice storm, and no scraping required!
