Bubba in the Burbs

Bubba in the Burbs

Busy parents still need to use their trunk while waiting for replacement shocks for that broken rear door. Grabbed a handy stick of bamboo. Got some good laughs at the grocery store. The stick has been workin’ great for almost a week!

I see this all the time on trucks with (old) camper shell tops with the same problem. Except the stick becomes the permeant solution to the problem and the stick sits on the tailgate or inside the bed. Someone even propped his up then drove off without closing it after loading a big object that stuck out in a very small truck.

I resorted to an old broom handle when our back lift gate shocks went out. It fit snug across the back and popped the gate even higher than normal, since my hubby is over 6 feet, was great for him!
