    Nothing “digital” about it.
    Simple bow-tie array. Probably DOES work well.

    You can use a coat hanger if the signal is strong enough in your area.
    So, would that be a “digital” coat hanger?

    Yep, that was the popular mechanics plan.

    I’m thinking of redoing mine with double the phase bars, since i’m close to the towers, but I live in a “hole” and the signal goes over my head

    The antenna isn’t digital, it picks up the new digital over the air signals.
