I think Escalades with the barn doors are fairly hard to find (made one year) so they probably had to settle on the Chevy door. Either way, that thing looks pretty beat.
Its a Cachevellac.
Its pretty smart actually, since they are really the same body and the chevy parts are probably at least half the cost of the escalades for the same part.
The doors are the very same thing. Made in the same plant, the only difference is that one gets a Chevy Emblem and one gets the Caddy Emblem. If they were to change out the badges, you would never know the which one the door came off of.
I once owned a dodge spirit with a plymouth front end- we called it the Plodge.
Escalades are NOT Cadillacs. Escalades are trucks. THIS is a Cadillac:http://www.cartype.com/pics/6681/full/cadillac_eldorado_biarritz_59.jpg
Escalades are the biggest abomination to come out of Cadillac Motor Division since the ill-fated Cimarron.
I’m 100% with Darth on this one. if you’re driving an Escalade, you’re actually driving an overpriced Suburban. Don’t worry, though, some gangbanger will steal it! Nice pik, Darth
