Camping shade structure fix

by DebbieWTR
June 26, 2012

“While camping with my Dad and brother in law it rained so hard during the night that our shade structure collapsed while we were sleeping. A fallen tree limb and a guy wire tied to the bent leg (right side) let us camp in redneck comfort for the rest of the day!”

It’s “guide wire” not “guy wire” Seriously?

something similar happened to us a few years ago and we were scheduled to be at the campsite for a week. No store near for a replacement pole, so we used a guy line too!! Worked well for us for the rest of the week. Yankee Ingenuity or White Trash….who cares, we had shade for the rest of the time we were camping!
