Fake submission??? I can’t see this as being a true white trash repair but you be the judge. I would think the straw would blow out with any water pressure. What is with the nasty toothbrush in the background?
From a construction background I can attest that this is faked. The spigot uses a screwed in attachment that allows for the hot and cold to mix at the spigot under pressure at the least 40 lbs whick a plastic straw would not be able to accept and would therefor shoot out the top at first sign of water pushing it.

I think the spigot fix is faked, sot he photo should be removed. As for the toothbrush: We are only supposed to use a toothbrush on our teeth for a couple months. But a ‘retired’ toothbrush still has many uses! For scrubbing nooks and crannies around faucets and tile, cleaning soap buildup, mildew or other tiny icky things. (Just dip in bleach.) They are also good for scrubbing stains on laundry, removing miscellaneous gunk. An old brush might last a few more months on mundane household chores or a one time use on some icky job.
