Nothing wrong with this. You can see the pin there, the string appears to just be a safe guard to keep it from bouncing out.

Gee, I wouldn’t need all this rope, if only someone could invent something that could pass through these holes on the hitch release, and hold it in the closed position. Maybe something that you’d need a key to remove, that way it wouldn’t come off inadvertently, and it would provide some measure of anti-theft protection.

No chain, no lights, no pin, hitch is old style, no plates, no insurance, wheels wobble.. yet the police dont do anything about it.
