“I just wanted to share this photo of a dome I made to keep leaves and rain out of the pool.  It’s made with pvc pipe, duct tape and plastic sheeting. “

I can’t wait to see how funky the water gets from cooking under there…

That looks like one good fart and it will blow over. I hope that’s anchored down somehow, and I don’t mean duct taped to the pool!

    I’m wondering if some one transformed a pool into a tent home. 😉 🙂 😀 😛

I hear ya. I’ve been trying to build something for mine for a couple years. I’ve spent a small fortune on PVC. I hate it!
But trust me, that plastic sheeting, will crumble in no time. The UV from the sun will just eat it up.
RED, yeah, they have skimmers. But trust me, you need to keep stuff out, rather than let it in and then get it out. Remember, these things run off of paper filters. If you don’t keep stuff out, you’re replacing filters every couple of days, and that’ll cost more than the pool.
I’ve got a blue tarp, tent like thing over mine. Yep, a blue tarp! I hate it! But even with that, I’m still skimming all the time. And replacing filters.
But the pool sure is sweet when it’s hot out there!! Whoo Hoo!!! I wanna get one for my basement when it’s cold out!!

“The choice is yours Mr Bond, suffocate or drown…”
I get the feeling the production company just isn’t putting everything into the villains in these movies anymore

You copied that. I saw it a month ago in “Better homes and Gardens”.

Is it just me, or does that water look nasty?

The first time I see kids under that thing, I’m calling CPS.

Man, that water needs a massive dose of chlorine! Eww!

From the looks of the green swamp water in the pool it also keeps the pool chemicals out.
