It does work if you really need to filter the air. I made a temporary paint booth in the basement one winter out of plastic drop cloths. I cut out a square and duct taped a fan/filter to circulate air and trap the over spray.

At least they’ll get 30 days use before they have to change it. But, the freakin’ filter costs more than the fan!
