    I know it looks redneck as hell but I’ve had windshields replaced and some dealers do this to keep the glass from shifting until it dries well. I was embarrassed to drive it looking like this and put the vehicle in the garage for 24 hours then removed the tape.

    I’ve also had windows replaced in the past and they put tape like this on it to hold it in place. It’s not a white trash repair. It’s a proper repair!

    I have had glass shops do that as well. It holds it till it’s dried and set. Must have been in a hurry to use the van.

    Yeah that was freshly installed and the tape is only there for a few days.

    Are people really that stupid that they cant tell thats a window replacement still? Its only been done that way for many years now.
