So the twine fixed the valve stem? I’m not sure how the twine fixed the stem…
And you had no floss or bailing wire?
@DanCJ7: I’m sure the valve stem had a little crack in it that, when the stem was pulled downward, closed up. The valve stem is on borrowed time, of course, and probably wasn’t replaced at the same time the tire was replaced.
