As someone with a metal roof, it never would have occured for me to do this. It’s creative, though. I wonder what the rest of the house looks like?

Well it might handle hail better than a conventional shingle roof, the noise would most likely deafening, but I would be more interested in see how it handles the WIND. I can just see it pealing off just like a banana.
