Besides the handle being a mess the lock has to be a lot of fun. To lock or un lock the door you have to put the window down – FAIL!
This dumbass spent more money on the locks than he would’ve on the parts to fix the door latch.
Is it me, or is that a propane heater sitting inside the truck?
Also, maybe he has another one on the inside. At least he painted it to match.
Most likely either the original latch works, but not the lock, or there is something else on the inside to keep the door closed – so that he doesn’t have to put the window down.
Mid-80s Dodge Ramcharger… What a gem.
You’d only have to put the window down to lock the car from the INSIDE. Duh.
Are we just going to ignore the kerosene heater in the passenger seat?
Somebody’s been watching Mr. Bean!
The locking mechanism is probably busted but the latch is fine… Owner probably just locks it for security once parked. No need to lock while the vehicle is in use, unless they’re afraid of a carjacking, and if the rest if the vehicle is in the same shape, there’s little to no possibility of that even remotely being a concern.
