Magoo’s Playhouse

by DebbieWTR
December 7, 2012

Meet Mr. Magoo (the orange tabby) he is a special needs kitty who is blind.  Don’t worry as you can see he is well loved and has lots of things to play with including his Chex Mix house complete with a bed on top!

I have been following “Mr. Magoo Who? “The Blind Kitty Who Stole My Heart” on facebook for some time and I have fallen in love with this little guy.  If you happen to be looking to get a pet then you might want to consider a special needs or senior pet.  There are so many loving pets that may not be perfect but will still steal your heart like Magoo did!

We have a special needs dog, Maggie Mae(Think Rod Stewart) who is 14. She’s been blind since about 6, and has had 3 operations costing $4500 in the last year. She is well and gets along with the 2 adopted cats. When you get a pet, go to a shelter.

Mr. Magoo is such a sweet kitty. He is very lucky as he was placed in the home of the best kitty mommy and daddy! He have a wonderful life now!

Only a person would consider them “special needs”. They consider themselves, just, themselves. I’ve seen a dog with only two legs, on the same side, and it couldn’t care less. That dog ran like crazy, and when it wanted a rest, it’d just lean up again a tree.

People could learn a lot from animals. But I always go to a shelter. Mutts have much stronger genes than over bred “designer” pets. The ones I’ve had, seemed smarter too.
