by DebbieWTR

“My brother’s 1990 Honda Civic apparently did not come with a battery hold-down. So he found an old ratchet strap and this is the result. Works very well!”

You had enough to buy HID kit but not a rubber battery strap from local automotive store lol?

Not a bad fix at all! After seeing this I dug through my junk drawer for a length of strap and did the same thing to my old 4×4. Works way better than the rubber bungee cord I had been using to hold the battery down.

1990 Honda civic batteries do not come with battery hold downs. They are just extra weight and hurt the full efficiency.
