Redneck Alternator Fix

Redneck Alternator Fix

The drivers  truck’s alternator quit working.  So that he didn’t have to leave his truck and his tools abandoned on the side of the road, he took action.  He ran an extension cord from his welder across the roof of his truck and under the hood.  He plugged up his battery charger to his battery, and viola, makeshift alternator.  Definitely redneck engineering in action, but hey….it worked.

It’s only a redneck repair if this emergency fix becomes permanent.

Typical POS! He’d probably have to cobble it together just to get it to the junkyard. . .
