Redneck Clothes Dryer

Redneck Clothes Dryer

“I didn’t have a dryer in my first apartment, so I would hang all my clothes. The clothes for work the next day would always go over the lights on the ceiling fan, so the wind from the fan would dry them in time for work.”

I have to say it would’ve been much more effective hanging them from the blades.

yes, but that would have ruined the blades.

Hanging clothes from the blades would have to be balanced. Else, it would throw the fan out of balance so bad, everyone else in the building would thing think there’s a constant earthquake. Well, OK, not quite that crazy, but it would turn the fan into a piece of junk.

That’s also to say that the blades can even support the weight of the clothes, they would be saturated in water and thus much heavier.
