Roof Tile?

Let me guess on your kitchen floor you used asphalt shingles?

Nice try dipshit that’s a framed house which means that the trusses are always in motion, so even if you get the tiles to stick which is possible if done correctly, the grout joints are going to break and or fracture, which is where the water will seep in, unless the hail breaks the tiles. That’s why roof tiles are designed to float and are thicker with stress systems built into them. Also roof tiles are designed with air gaps between the tile and the roof deck, so that heat can be dissipated with out transfer into the attic. Going to be a expensive tear off and rework to put a roof on that will last.

If silicone was used instead of grout, that will eliminate some of the issues. The other issues may still be issues, however.

silicone doesn’t last in direct sunlight and heat, those tile most likely get 140-160 degrees hot in the noonday sun. It must have been a bitch just to install this nightmare I can not imagine doing this in the daytime unless it was really overcast as the UV’s would still be streaming thru and creating a heating issue. So the alternative is doing this in the night time, bet the neighbors loved that needed lighting and the noise for say a week or more. Just wish I was able to determine where this photo was taken and when, cause code enforcement would have a field day with this one!!

Evidently it doesn’t leak.Joints show no signs of cracking, except maybe the edge, but that could be mold or shadows. Also when you order kitchen tile, order 10% extra,NOT 100%, than you won’t have enough for the roof.

You’re all dumb, this is actual REAL roofing. I’ve seen it before.

Should have used roll on linoleum. 😉
