With that different color top on the top of the tent it almost looks like one of those sweat lodges, good think it has AC!
I like the AC unit at the tent. 🙂
Looks like a rain fly (cover) for a different tent.
But seriously, if you can’t get out there without missing the AC that badly, you probably shouldn’t be going. *I* just wait until it’s cooler out there.
Speaking of rain..what happens when it does..is that A/C on the ground?
I don’t know where that is, but it could very well be TN/AR/MS. I took my dad’s RV out a few weeks ago, and there were a BUNCH of tents w/ AC. It was hot enough I didn’t blame them. A little AC can make the difference between a great weekend with the family & a miserable one.
If it rains, duct tape around the edges to seal the inside. The outside of the unit usually gets wet, anyway.
Yeehaw & all that. I just realized I spent way too much time just now proving I’m really a redneck…
We recently went camping in July and about 2 days before we went the weather man announced record high temps. We were taking 4 small children ages 3-9 and we only had a tent!! So my redneck husband went & bought a window unit AC and sat it outside (of the opening) of the tent. We had people snickering, laughing, and pointing at us. But we froze our asses off that night in the tent!! NICE! Most people went home that next day because it was almost 115 heat index!! That was the best camping trip ever!
That’s a right big beer fridge you put together there Delmer. Got a cold one for me?
