    Makes no sense to have a directional antenna that doesn’t look like it can rotate on a moving vehicle. Every turn puts your signal heading something else.
    The vertical part actually looks like a CB antenna but I just don’t get the rest of it.

    That is a HAM radio antenna my husband has antenna’s like this but Not on any car his are on a tower where they belong at.
