    When you kill or mean to kill another person, you have demonstrated your choice that you have no regard for human life. Therefore, you have also chosen that yours has no value either. You made that choice, not your intended victim. That victim then has the equal right to remove your life. So bam, bam, bam bam bam. Case closed.
