“I call this a white (collar) trash repair. Many 2″ trailer hitch balls were mounted to the railings of stairs in front of the world headquarters of Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio.”
Keeps the street bikers and skate boarders off of the railings.

That’ll keep those skateboarders off!
larry

I am obviously missing something here…

Skateboarder’s will get a running start and jump the board onto the railing and slide down the railing,it scrapes the paint off and is a liability issue for the property owner
Biff
If that doesn’t stop those d–n kids the snipers will!
Seriously, how is putting objects on a rail that will ensure kids get hurt if they try to skate there going to protect property owners? That would be like worrying that neighborhood kids might get in your pool and drown, so you put sharks in it.
Ugnaught
Why are you making villains out of property owners, Biff? If someone gets hurt because they ignored a ‘no skateboarding’ sign, and they ignored anti-skateboard obstructions, they made that happen, not the property owner.
