“I didn’t have anywhere to put my Pioneer 3×5’s after my car got stolen. I just moved and I needed some speakers! I also stuffed them with packing peanuts. They didn’t sound that good to be honest, Dallas, Texas”

    I’m not an expert, but I think the shock absorbing qualities of styrofoam peanuts could be causing them to absorb your sound waves.

    Your boxes are not big enough. The larger the box, the better the bass. I did this when I was a teenager. I used two large boxes, like two foot cubes. Sounded really great for a while.
