I don’t see how they can turn the wheel with the front tires hitting the fenders.

The teal-colored stripe across the hood and down the fender is a filler piece where this craftsman extended the pickup, and it still wasn’t enough! First impression is the original truck had a totally rotted frame so the sheet metal is sitting on a newer donor vehicle frame. Seems a shame to expend all that labor and still have something that looks like that.
