    With all the companies griping about fuel I dont blame the guy, hes probably a owner operator tryin to save precious money, and man does it get hot in the trucks, they have poor insulation and heat up so fast, my Peterbilt has an APU to power it so I dont have to run the engine, but not everyones that lucky, props to the guy for ingenuity

    my husband is a truck driver and the road is our life… and that is common with the cuban drivers in miami fl, but in tx… hummmm must be a mexican! we have a picture of a truck the owner have a pipe from the reffeer to the truck like an a/c. the necesities are the mother of the inventions… yuup!!! bruup!!!

    Is that for plugging in at truckstops? Small air conditioners are 120V 60hz AC, big trucks are 24V DC. With an inverter big enough to power the A/C unit the charging system in the truck wouldn’t be able to supply the inverter and charge the batteries and run all the other stuff in and on the truck all at the same time.
